Low Wind Speed Wind Turbine Development 

Geo Sense is part of consortium in commercializing  low wind speed wind turbine systems with current capacities of 30 kWh and 100 kWh. These systems are designed and fabricated at the UTM Wind Turbine Lab. Currently, a 30 kWh prototype tower is installed in Kg. Sungai Melayu, Kota Iskandar, Johor.

This initiative aligns with Malaysia’s broader goals under the Malaysia Renewable Energy Roadmap (MyRER), which aims to increase the share of renewable energy in the national grid to 31% by 2025 and further decarbonize the electricity sector by 2035. Geo Sense’s involvement in wind energy is a step towards contributing to these national targets, focusing on innovative, low-impact renewable energy solutions.
